Acceptable Use Policy
Content
Although we do not believe in censorship, XFire Web does not allow
the following types of content:
- Sites containing pornographic material
- Sites containing or promoting racism or
hate-related materials
- Sites containing "Warez" information or
software, including but not limited to any copyrighted software or
music files.
- Sites that provide methods for circumventing
copy protection ("cracks", keycodes, serial numbers, decoder chips,
etc.)
- Any other content which is illegal under the
laws of the United States
Client Content
XFire Web is not responsible for client content, transmission
of sensitive data to and from a client site, or any other content or
communications between a client site and a visitor of the site not
expressly covered in this AUP. This includes but is not limited to, the
collection or transmission of personal data, credit card information, or
the like through any unsecured means such as standard HTTP or e-mail.
XFire is also not responsible for such data stored on sites or XFire
servers without the use of at least basic encryption.
Multiple Website
Hosting XFire Web has a strict policy of one website per
account. Up to three domain names can point to the same site without
violating the policy, however the domain names may not point to a sub
directory or specific subset of pages on the site. XFire Web reserves
the right to assess fees to the account where this policy is being
violated.
Mass E-Mail or
Unsolicited Commercial E-Mail (SPAM) XFire Web has a strict
policy governing the use of its mail systems. Customer agrees that it
shall not send or facilitate the sending of SPAM through our mail
systems. Violation of this policy will be dealt with in accordance to
this policy, which may include termination of services. Mass E-Mail is
permitted based on prearranged times and number of
e-mails to send. This is an add-on service that can be quoted based on
the client's sending needs. Please contact your account representative
prior to initiating any mass e-mail sends or your account service could
be interrupted for violation of this policy.
Violations
Violations of the Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy will be
dealt with in accordance with the terms set forth below.

XFire Web expressly disclaims any obligation to monitor its Customers
and other Users with respect to violations of this AUP. XFire Web has
no liability or responsibility for the actions of any of its Customers
or other Users or any content any User may post on any web site.
- Reporting Violations
. XFire Web encourages customers and non-customers to report
violations of this policy by e-mail to:
abuse@xfireweb.com, including
the name of the offending domain and the type of abuse in the subject
line of the e-mail.
- Actions.
If XFire Web learns of a violation of this AUP, XFire Web will respond
to the customer and at its sole discretion, and may take any of the
following actions, based on the severity of the violation:
- Warn the Customer
- Suspend Services of the offending Customer
- Terminate Services of the offending Customer
- Impose fees or charges on the offending customer
account in accordance with the customer's service contract
- Remove the offending content
- Take any other action in accordance with this AUP,
or any applicable law
- Reservation of
rights. XFire web reserves the right to cooperate with
appropriate legal authorities in investigations of claims of illegal
activity involving XFire Web's Services, Customers, and any other
users. XFire Web reserves all other rights to respond to violations
of this Acceptable Use Policy and the Terms of Service Policy.
